Form is always closely connected to matter, and those who …

Form is always closely connected to matter, and those who only concentrate on form lose the intensity and subtlety of their life and become rigid. But the law of life is evolution: new currents and new forces are constantly appearing in order to break those fossilized forms. Take stones, for example: there are always hammers and machines coming to break them up and grind them to pieces. It is the destiny of stones to be broken up. And all humans who allow themselves to be controlled by matter have the same destiny. One day, they will also be broken up. You could say that life oscillates between two poles: spirit and matter. And when the spirit, which is characterized by mobility, flexibility and subtlety, comes to manifest itself, nothing can resist these forces of renewal. All forms that have become old and rigid will disintegrate. Time, in other words the forces of life, will always overturn them eventually, in order to force them to renew themselves.
