Those who unjustly accuse others of dishonesty and infidelity ought to know that, actually, they’re pushing them to commit what they accuse them of. A man, for example, accuses his wife of betraying him. It’s not true, and she protests and justifies herself. But it’s no good; her husband is pathologically jealous and makes endless scenes: ‘Where were you? Who were you meeting? Why did you look at so-and-so? Why did you say that?’ He sees proof of her infidelity everywhere. And then, after a while, what happens? His wife, who has never wanted to betray her husband, eventually does just that, and she is the first to be amazed; she doesn’t understand what led her to commit adultery. Quite simply, it was her husband who drove her to it! By continually suggesting it, he created favourable conditions on the astral plane, and the poor woman succumbed. He did everything to ensure what he said would eventually come true. This is how humans often unconsciously create the misfortune that befalls them.
