Look at what happens when you put petrol in an engine. This petrol, which seems to be just an ordinary liquid, releases an extraordinary power and makes the car travel at more than a hundred kilometres per hour, simply because it has been compressed and then ignited. Well, the same applies to the air we breathe. This is why when you breathe in air, try to compress it in your lungs for a moment, in other words hold your breath and do not let it out. Whilst you hold it in, the organism works, it starts up the ignition and causes ‘explosions'. Nature makes this trapped air, which cannot escape, pass through tiny special ducts fitted with devices which set certain centres in motion. Think about it, observe yourself and you will see what one single in-breath can produce.
