Those who need shocks, disasters and fires in order to feel alive, show they are still primitive and barbaric beings. In fact, you can see this throughout history: all those who torched towns and villages, who burned people at the stake and lit crematory ovens were barbarians. The need to burn things or people is a vestige of primitive savagery. And it is the same in the realm of feelings: those who endlessly light the fires of passion in themselves and in others are committing acts of barbarism. This is characteristic of those who have not yet learned the correct way to warm themselves and to warm others, in other words, who have not learned the right way to love.
