To escape uncertainty, anguish and the emptiness of life, human beings must learn to relate consciously through their soul and spirit to the luminous forces in nature. We can only help others by offering them light, which is to say true knowledge. Once received, this light shows them they are part of something boundless and eternal, and that by striving to commune with cosmic forces, they are given the means to transform their lives. Certainty and joy become their companions. Any other way of helping them to resolve their physical and psychic problems will prove inadequate by comparison. We can only truly help people by revealing their true nature to them, by showing them how they are related to the Tree of Life and how they can transform themselves by drawing on its forces.
