When people expect everything to come from outside …

When people expect everything to come from outside themselves, whether it be from other people or from things, they are constantly in a state of need. They are constantly wanting to take as well, because when they receive nothing of what they expected, they seek to obtain it by any means, even the most illicit. This is the negative side. If, on the other hand, you believe you possess everything within yourself, you feel yourself overflowing with riches, and you ceaselessly experience the need to share these treasures with others in order to lighten your load. Learn, therefore, to seek riches within yourself. Initially, perhaps, you will not find very much, but little by little you will be dazzled by what you discover. And it is through this constant need to give that you will approach the Divinity.
