One day an angel decided he wanted to learn about and study …

One day an angel decided he wanted to learn about and study life on earth so he assumed the body of a pig. Life seemed wonderful and delicious to him. He ate acorns and mash, married a charming sow and was surrounded by dozens of adorable little piglets. My God, what happiness! He could not tear himself away from such delights, and the angels above started to worry about him: his apprenticeship was lasting a lot longer than planned. They sent him messages, but to no avail. In the end they decided that the only thing to do was to cut his head off, so the pig’s throat was cut, and the pig was duly eaten. When the angel finally left that ‘delectable’ body, he was amazed to find that he had lost all count of time while in this state, and thanked his brothers for freeing him. Unfortunately many humans suffer the same experience. They allow themselves to become so deeply entrenched in material things that they are like our pig, and it is no surprise that heaven occasionally shakes them up a bit to remind them to shed their animal form and return to their divine form.
