Human beings aspire to oneness, but clearly they don’t …
Human beings aspire to oneness, but clearly they don’t succeed in achieving it. Why? Because they don’t know they should be looking for it in the spirit, nowhere else. Outside of the spirit, multiplicity reigns. The hostility and possessiveness human beings experience, and every tendency they have to feel like an outsider, different from others, come from having strayed from that state of perfection in which all spirits are one, identified with the divine Spirit. In oneness, there is never the slightest manifestation of hostility. There are beings who have experienced the sense of oneness to such a degree, they feel they are in tune with all creatures; there is no longer any separation; every soul, every spirit, is in tune with every other, and they experience what happens to others as if it were happening to themselves. And this is precisely the aim of initiatic Science: to lead all beings back to this awareness of oneness.
