Whenever we want to make something the object of …

Whenever we want to make something the object of intellectual study, we must first immobilize it and sometimes even kill it in order to dissect it. Science often refrains from studying what is alive in order to concentrate on what is ossified or dead, because all that is alive moves and changes constantly in such a way that the intellect cannot get hold of it. It is therefore not surprising that the spiritual and divine worlds, which are in perpetual motion and animated by vibrations of the highest intensity, escape investigation by scholars. In order to be precise or ‘scientific', researchers have chosen to stick to the observation of physical matter, without realizing that in doing so they are limiting themselves, as well as all those who are influenced by them and follow their example. Well, this is a disastrous model to follow, because it encourages human beings to focus only on the crudest, most material aspect of things, instead of being concerned with all that is subtle, alive and vibrant: the world of the spirit.
