When faced with the difficulties of life and your powerlessness over events, you sometimes feel overwhelmed. But understand that nowhere is it written that you must be irreparably crushed by fate. Fate exists only for those who forget the presence of the spirit within them. Whatever the ordeals you must pass through, tell yourself: ‘I am a spirit, and I can therefore become master of my destiny.’ At first, of course, you will be able to change very little, because you will only be able to deviate from your course by a hundredth of a degree. But, if you persevere in this new direction, one day there will be an entire solar system between you and fate. What matters most is that you have rediscovered the power of the spirit within you.
