From time to time during the course of the day, take a look …

From time to time during the course of the day, take a look inside yourself. If you notice any tension or agitation, stop immediately; otherwise this state will go on indefinitely with negative effects on everything you do. Once you have stopped, concentrate for a few seconds in order to calm yourself and make contact with the light, and then start again on a different note. Your new state of mind will take over. When people have suffered a bad shock or are anxious or irritated, they begin knocking things over, banging doors and bumping into furniture. Why? Because unconsciously they are trying to rid themselves of an energy they cannot control. But the more agitated they are, the more agitated they inevitably become. You must therefore do the opposite: be completely still for a moment. Only when you have calmed yourself can you continue your work in the best conditions.
