Acknowledging - what we receive from God, our parents and our master

Humans generally expect things from people that they are unable to give, while disregarding the precious things they actually are given, because that wasn't what they were expecting. Are human beings grateful to the Creator, for instance? No, in fact they find all sorts of things to reproach him for. Are children really grateful towards their parents? You often hear them criticizing and making fun of them. And that's not to mention the grievances disciples nurture towards their master! Never mind that he gives them every method for working on themselves and making progress, to become true sons and daughters of God, luminous and radiant - no, no, that's not what they want. They want success, powers and glory; they want to meet their soulmate, and the master is very much to blame for not fulfilling their wishes. Lord God, what can be done with such people? It's not surprising then if they are forever unhappy. They should try learning to give something in return for all they receive from the Lord, from their parents and from their master, if they have one. If they can at least have some awareness that they are receiving something, they will find peace and joy.
