There is no justification for being sad, when your sadness …

There is no justification for being sad, when your sadness has selfish motives. You’ll tell me there are reasons for your unhappiness, as you encounter nothing but failure and can see no real future for yourself… Well, you’re seeing things wrong: days follow each other and are never the same, and even if the sun is hidden behind clouds today, tomorrow you will see it rise, and everything will smile on you. ‘Yes, but,’ some people say, ‘I’m already old, what can I hope for?’ Don’t you know, one day you will come back to earth again as a child, and children are permitted to hope for anything, and you will begin a new life, enriched by past experience? And someone else will complain, ‘I was rich, and I’ve lost everything.’ But you can get your wealth back, who’s to stop you? Or, ‘I’ve lost people I loved…’ If you really loved them, you will find them again. There is an answer to every argument put forward by sadness. You should not dwell all the time on weakness, grief, fatigue, failure and loss. Everything can be resolved when you call on the help of love, wisdom and truth.
