You don’t become an educator by following courses or …

You don’t become an educator by following courses or reading books on education. You can only become an educator if you were born an educator: then, merely by your presence, the looks you give and your emanations, you have a beneficial effect on the children. There have been people throughout history who were born with this love and these moral qualities; they influenced children through their natural authority and worked wonders with them. Children are sensitive; they can tell from miles away whether you’re a master or not. Animals, too. Take the horse, for instance: if its rider is a coward, the horse senses it, then up it goes, and the rider’s on the ground! Otherwise, it’s submissive. Children also have this natural intuition. Actually, true education is none other than initiation. A true educator is an initiate. Through their example, self-denial, patience and sacrifice, great initiates have slowly educated humanity, showing it new paths.
