All that is engraved on our body and our face today was …
All that is engraved on our body and our face today was first prepared and formed in our psyche. This is the working of an absolute, implacable law, according to which each thought, each feeling releases currents of force whose effects reach even to the physical plane. Of course, these effects are not visible right away. In the course of a day we are traversed by a multitude of fleeting emotions and sensations, and although these states of consciousness are immediately recorded somewhere in our subtle matter, they are not deeply engraved on our physical body nor even on our face. In our present life, our facial expressions represent what we are living at any particular moment; they are no more than ripples on the surface of water. Only those currents set in motion long ago and repeatedly are deeply engraved. Knowing this, you will understand the power you have to mould your body and your facial features.
