Always place the highest ideal in your heart and soul. Even if it is unrealizable and inaccessible, cherish it all the same and give it nourishment. Life is wonderful, precisely because you have an inaccessible ideal. People quickly lose interest in things that are easily obtainable. Throw yourself into an endeavour that you know in advance will never be realized. For that is what will stimulate you, rekindle your enthusiasm and give poetry to your life. Psychology has not sufficiently studied this aspect of things. You will say, ‘But it has nothing do to with psychology.’ Oh yes it has; it is true psychology. So, do not ask yourself whether or not you are capable of achieving it; focus on the highest possible ideal: to make the divine life flow within you and around you.
