With the passing years, our physical body grows and …
With the passing years, our physical body grows and develops, because life penetrates and animates it. Of course, the time comes for the body to stop growing, but right until the end of our life it doesn’t stop changing, because the principle of life within us continues to penetrate it. We shape our own body with our mind, our heart and our will, and we remain linked to it by all sorts of subtle connections which give us the power to act upon it. What conclusion can be drawn from this phenomenon? That in order to truly act on beings and objects, you have to penetrate them; you must never lose sight of this law. You may say, ‘Why do I fail to influence such and such a person – a parent or friend, for example – when I would like to help?’ Because you haven’t learnt to penetrate other beings with your psychic energy. And that is the principle of magic.
