Human beings need only to learn to look at the sun to discover the meaning of their life. But they do not look at it, or else they look at it whilst thinking of something else. This is why they receive only a little of its warmth and a little of its light. They must come to understand the nature of its rays and prepare themselves to receive them so that they may benefit from all its riches. What is a ray of sunlight? A flux of billions of particles, and each of these particles is a living entity containing a tremendous amount of knowledge about the sun and its inhabitants. Once you have learnt to receive the rays of the sun, once you have learnt to understand them, they will bring you the knowledge of the sun, indeed not only its knowledge, but its love for all creatures and its life and strength. The rays of the sun can give you everything, provided they find a door that is open within you.
