The amount of energy criminals expend is impressive! It seems as if their schemes keep them endlessly awake and on their feet. They are tireless, while those who are honest, who have no impulse to steal, kill or avenge themselves have much less energy; they live in peace and quiet, quite satisfied with themselves. Well, there is no reason to be so satisfied. To start a family and establish a career, to be sociable, friendly and charitable is something, of course, but it does not represent a great ideal. There are many other things to do in life, and people must understand that they have not yet begun their true work. This is why they need an initiatic teaching which will reveal activities to them which they have never imagined. They will then feel obliged to outdo themselves, to surpass themselves, and they too will become tireless.
