Limits, Inner - that must always pushed back

The most discouraging thing about human beings is that they accept to live a restricted life. Feeling weak, sick and unhappy is normal to them. Of course, no one can entirely escape certain constraints imposed by nature, but they can be pushed back – we do not always have to be prisoners or victims. Not only is it possible to prolong positive states, positive conditions, we can also delay the onset of negative states, provided, of course, that we believe it is possible! Unfortunately, when we observe human beings we see that they behave as if they were hypnotized, as if a line had been drawn before them and they had been told, ‘That’s as far as you are going!’ And they believe it, they believe this restriction must be their normal state. But they don’t know themselves; they are unaware of all the resources, all the powers the Creator has placed in them, and there they remain wallowing. If they were now to strive to extend their limits, they would find that they can do much more than they thought possible.
