There is only one truth, eternal and absolute. Therefore all the beliefs and opinions people take for truths are really only so to the extent that they approach this universal principle which is the heart of everything. Until they attain this heart, ‘the’ truth will merely be their truth. Everything that is true for you is obviously a form of the truth, but it is a relative truth. You say: ‘As I see it, things are, or aren’t, such and such…’ But the way you see things is not yet the truth. When you say: ‘as I see it’, do you believe you can identify with the truth? No, there are two different realities: the truth and you. Who told you your truth was the truth? If you are willing to study a long time to verify this, you will conclude that you still have a long road to travel before you come close to the truth.
