Never abandon heaven for anyone: neither for your parents, children, wife, husband, nor anyone else. If you really love them, understand that keeping in touch with heaven will enable you really to do them good. If you forget heaven because someone has asked for all your attention, you will lose everything: heaven and earth. You will neither possess the Lord nor this person for whom you made such great sacrifices: you will end up alone. Therefore, whatever the circumstances may be, never abandon heaven. If you abandon heaven to cling to the earth, one day or another, the earth will give way, and nothing will be left for you. Whereas if you look for heaven, you will also possess the earth, because the earth always comes with heaven, the earth submits to heaven as its servant.
