Authority over others begins with work on oneself. When …

Authority over others begins with work on oneself. When someone has worked first on his own children – in other words, on the cells of his own organism – and then has to educate children outside himself or exercise responsibilities which entail authority over adults, his words and gestures are expressive and convincing. Those he teaches or directs feel he is not merely playing a role but speaking and acting from his whole being. This is why his presence is magical and he achieves results. All the inhabitants within him give him support and strength, because he is fully dedicated to one end: working for the good and for the light. People have true authority only when all of their cells emanate something harmonious and unified. Otherwise, their words may say one thing, but the rest of them shouts the opposite.
