Love - happy encounters we need to know how to protect

How can you hold onto the love you feel, and what can you do to make it last as long as possible? Quite simply, avoid throwing yourself at the person you are falling in love with and devouring them. Because after those moments of great excitement, weariness soon sets in, and you will lose your inspiration and joy. It’s like someone who has overeaten – food means nothing to them anymore. Humans are always in such a hurry to destroy anything that could make their life beautiful and give it meaning! Why would they sacrifice a love that brings them every blessing, that brings them heaven, in exchange for a few minutes of pleasure? You have met someone you felt immediately attracted to. They are like a vase filled with a precious essence that immerses you in a state of wonder; they broaden your horizons and reveal the beauties of heaven and earth to you. Thank the Lord that you have met them; let being with them bring you increasing light, life and strength, but keep a little distance between you. If you take this advice and try to put it into practice, you will never be without beautiful encounters throughout your life, and because you will be able to appreciate them you will truly know what love is.
