Human beings - why it is difficult to know them

It is said in Genesis that God created man and woman in his own image, and, since God is also the universe, man and woman are therefore in the image of the universe. Of course, when you take a look at most expressions of humanity, you tell yourself humankind doesn't amount to much. Yes, but at the same time, like God, a human being is the entire universe. Our intelligence, which can only conceive of the world as three-dimensional, is incapable of grasping the immensity of a human being. What we can see, touch and hear of them is only a very limited aspect. We do not know the true human being; all we know of them is the covering: like a diver dressed in a diving suit or an Eskimo covered in animal skins, humans are clothed in several skins - their different bodies -, and these are what we are more or less familiar with. If you know, in a manner of speaking, how to remove these skins one after another, you discover a tiny point, an atom of light. But, at the same time, you understand that human beings are immensely great and embrace the entire universe. Both these statements are true at the same time.
