Good, Doing - through other people; anecdote about Paganini

One day Paganini noticed a blind beggar playing the violin in the street. As no one was giving him anything, he went over to him, took the violin from his hands and began to play. Immediately, the sounds he was drawing from the instrument attracted the attention of passers-by; a crowd gathered and coins began to rain down. When Paganini had finished his piece, the plate was full. He returned the violin to the beggar and went on his way. What a wonderful gesture! You will be thinking, ‘Yes, but Paganini was a virtuoso, and that gave him great possibilities. We, on the other hand, have neither money nor a violin to help all the unfortunates we meet on our way.’ Maybe, but you have your mind. So, stop somewhere, concentrate and project your wish to give onto the passers-by. What will happen is that some of them will do it for you, and you will have had a part to play in the gift. It does not have to be you giving to those who need help, but you can arrange it so that your love is expressed through others.
