Eternity - the feeling that arises when we are nourished by the soul and the spirit
Prayer and meditation can bring about a peaceful feeling, but also an extraordinary feeling of fulfilment. Why? On the face of it, you haven't received anything, and yet you feel satisfied, as if you had eaten and drunk your fill, and if you know how to retain this feeling it will stay with you. In the ‘restaurant’ of the soul and spirit, it is not like on the physical plane, where you have to eat each day or else become hungry and weak. The food you receive in the sublime regions of the soul and spirit can nourish you for days on end. The divine world contains elements that are so rich, so full of light, that if you can taste them even once, you will know what it is to live in eternity.
