Divine laws - we cannot transgress them with impunity

Rid your minds of the idea that you can transgress the divine laws with impunity.* It is easy to cheat human beings. They are so gullible and have so little judgement that anyone with a little guile can get them to do almost anything. Yes, it is unfortunate, but it is the truth. It is always possible to trick human beings, especially with lies, for they tend to prefer lies. If you tell them the truth, you can be sure that they will doubt what you say, but if you cheat and lie, you can almost always get what you want. The only problem is, of course, that we are not here on earth in order to get our own way by conning other people. We must realize that one day we will have to answer for our actions before the great laws of the cosmos. Instead of amusing ourselves by putting on an act for the benefit of the blind, we should think about these laws. For all your actions are recorded, weighed and examined, and one day, you will have to settle your accounts. You may have gained a little something by deceiving the ignorant, you may have them under your thumb, but you yourself will have lost an entire kingdom in the world above.
