Grief and worries - avoiding burdening others with them

The habit most people have acquired of unburdening themselves to others when they feel sad and unhappy is a sign of great weakness. How often, at the slightest concern or upset, they rush to relatives, friends or neighbours, or else to the telephone! And straight away twenty or so people are poisoned. Have they ever stopped to ask themselves whether other people are there to receive their burdens or are even able to cope with them? If they really want to progress, they must drop this habit and find a way to no longer overburden those around them. When you are feeling worried or sad, try to find ways to neutralize these states. Ask yourself, ‘Let’s see, what can I do to become more resilient and in control of myself? How can I behave like a true child of God heaven can count on for its work?’ If you do not want to make any effort, if you prefer to remain weak, then hold onto your old ways and suffer the consequences! But know that in an initiatic teaching you are shown how to become strong, full of light and also able to help others.
