Reincarnation - it teaches us that there is a reason for everything
Those who accept the idea of reincarnation begin to understand that there is a reason for every event in their life. It is not by chance that we are born in a particular country and into such-and-such a family, that we possess certain qualities and have varying situations to cope with. Everything has its more or less distant cause in a previous existence. This understanding will obviously influence the way we feel about things, because when we realize that there is a reason for everything, we stop rebelling against trials and setbacks. We know that these hardships are the consequence of laws broken in past incarnations, and we accept them, without blaming others for our misfortunes. Finally, belief in reincarnation spurs people to strengthen their willpower. Not only do they set to work to repair their past mistakes, but they also avoid committing reprehensible acts, which they know will lead to suffering. They work hard to build a light-filled future for themselves.
