Seraphim - the most perfect manifestation of love

The Seraphim are the angels of Kether, the first sephira. They are therefore the first creatures to receive divine emanations. They exist immersed in an ocean of seething, primordial matter, drinking at the Source of light and love, their only nourishment. They are nourished by contemplating the Lord, which is why they are depicted with eyes all over their bodies. The Seraphim are the most perfect manifestation of love, for true love is contemplation.
