Every one of your gestures is significant, because your …

Every one of your gestures is significant, because your character, intelligence, aesthetic sense and education are revealed in everything you do. Someone will say: 'Oh, but I only sweep and wash floors.' So? That too is significant, because you still have to think and be careful when you sweep up or wash the floor. You reveal your qualities simply by the way you go about getting started. To sweep up properly you have to follow a certain process and take certain steps so that you do not raise clouds of dust. You will say you use a vacuum cleaner. Alright, but in fact even with a vacuum cleaner there are things to look out for. You need to take care that you do not go over the same area several times and miss others, you must be careful not to knock into the furniture and not to get the wire caught around the leg of a chair, and so on. Nothing, no task can be done without care and attention. Whatever the task, be it physical or mental, the first thing you always have to do is to decide how to organize it, in what order to do things. This is what is referred to as a good method of working. So, observe yourself, and whatever the task at hand, think about the way in which you will prepare for it and carry it out.
