When you wake up in the morning, remember to smile at the …

When you wake up in the morning, remember to smile at the whole world, to greet all of creation: ‘Hello, hello, hello…’ You will see that throughout the day, even if you are alone, you will not feel lonely, for you will hear echoes from every direction: ‘Hello, hello, hello…’ People don’t know how to establish contact with the world each morning. They leave home all huddled up in themselves; they see and hear other people on their way, but they fail to look at them or listen to them. It doesn’t occur to them that the entire world is inhabited by people who deserve at least a friendly thought and good wishes for light, peace and joy. Is it so difficult to open up and smile, to make the first move? You wait for others to do so, and while you wait you lament the fact that you are alone. As of today, begin to change your attitude, and you will never again feel alone.
